My experience with Rock Fitness was simply amazing!! With him being my first personal trainer, I was educated on how to maintain my fitness as well as to build lean muscle. He was able to identify trouble areas that I had previous, and made those my strengths. He also did an outstanding job when it was pertaining to keeping me motivated without being a drill sergeant. During our sessions, he was able to give me workouts that I could do individually to maintain the positive momentum I had throughout the week. With Rock Fitnesss I was able to lose 10 pounds quickly and maintain that weight after the process had ended.
I would strongly recommend Rock Fitness to anyone who looks to lose weight, gain strength, or improve their physique. One of the best things that Rock was able to do was make a training regimen that was catered to me and only me. From my observation of other trainers, I notice they all send clients to do the same workouts, but not Rock Fitness! He often made my workout routine totally different from others because he found out where my weaknesses was. I was also educated on the benefits of eating the correct things at the right times. I saw my biggest improvements when Rock decided to change my diet to fit my fitness goal. I plan to continue to have coach Rock help me , maintain and further my physical fitness in the future and Im looking forward to seeing more improvements. Prior to partnering with Coach Rock on my fitness journey I felt powerless and stagnant in life and needed to regain a sense of direction and self-worth. I struggled with low energy, an unbalanced diet and plenty of responsibilities that took priority over my self-care which affected me spiritually, mentally, and physically. At times I felt awkward working out with weights and I hated being sore afterwards which led me to give up within a few weeks with very little results to show. I even considered having a procedure done to get rid of my problem areas but then I decided I was ready for the journey to a stronger, healthier body and mind by putting in the work. It was time to bring that “fit” woman on my vision board to reality. So, I decided to go with a fitness coach this time for guidance and accountability.
Coach Rock has pushed me beyond my self-limiting beliefs and showed me what my body is capable of doing and achieving with an “I can” mindset. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to helping his clients transform their lives. His approach to progress over perfection, long-term consistency over short-term intensity and having a positive mindset is key for me in trusting him with my journey. Im happy with the progress i’ve made so far, I no longer shy away from cameras or cringe at photos of myself. Shopping for and dressing a smaller version of me has boosted my confidence. Most of all, i’ve fallen in love with dedicating time and energy to take care of myself and in return I’m able to take care of my loved ones and inspire others on their fitness journey. Shedding 18 years of lingering weight and a stuck mindset is the most rewarding part of this process.
I have been working with Coach Rock for over a year now. When I started with Coach Rock I was depressed, pre diabetic, and had high blood pressure. All my medical issues have improved according to my recent blood work results. I am no longer depressed due to becoming physically and mentally tough with the help from Coach Rock. He has helped me lose 96 pounds. Through a personalized meal plan, strength training, monitoring and constant encouragement!
Coach Rock assessed my abilities and created a program to meet my needs. He has helped me to be comfortable in the gym environment and confident enough to safely use gym equipment. Through this journey I also learned how to make healthier food choices. He is very professional, he monitors our macros daily and always gives you feedback. I have struggled with weight my entire adult life while battling emotional eating, depression, & anxiety. I have tried almost every diet and weight loss program there is. With all those tools, I still managed to get to a point where I developed high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, GERD, joint issues, back issues, and mobility concerns. I would become winded completing simple tasks like walking from the parking deck at work to my desk.
Meeting Coach Rock in 2019 has been one of the best things to happen for me and my family's life. I came in weighing a huge 230 pounds then my man Rock said “I got you, we are going to work this weight off together no problem.” His dedication and determination to make me a better person and get my weight loss journey was amazing. We started working out three days a week for an hour each time. There were many days I wanted to give up and quit but he was right there pushing and encouraging me.
